As tournament director Tom organizes and runs all of the GVHPA annual tournamentsC

Tom informs and reminds the Victoria players of all tournaments in B.C. and remits entry forms to these tournaments ib the player's behalf

He has been the Victoria tournament director since 2011, Vice-President of Horseshoe Canada for 6 years and President of the B.C. Horseshoe association for the past 6 years

Tom, eats, sleeps and breathes horseshoes. He promotes the sport in a variety of ways, talking shoes to anyone and everyone. He's always thinking of new ideas to get all ages ubto the sport

Promoted Peace Arch trophy between BC and Washington

Active promoting on social media and on-line outlets about horseshoe activities
Promoted horseshoes on TV and radio programs

Ran Canada 20 and 21 series of email tournaments in Canada and the Canadian Backyzard Championships during the covid-19 panademic

Chairman for BCHA Hall of fame

BC Rep for Jorseshoe Canada Hall of fame

Organizeed zoom meetings for the BCHA Executive and the Victoria club

On top of all organizing local and provincial tournaments he is a top A player with many victories with 8 BC Me's Championships (as of 2019) and 6 BC International Chamoionships (as of 2019). 3-third plsce finishes in the Canadian Championship and represented BC at the world championships in the Mens's A2 class

Tom is totally committed to the sport of horseshoes and the sport has benefitted from all of his efforts. We are fortunate to have him< br>
