Doreen Muloin - Winfield Horseshoe Club

Doreen Muloin was born July 1, 1940 in Southey, Saskatchewan and joined the Air Force in 1958 where she met Bill and married in 1960. They had 2 boys and after 35 years of service Bill retired and they took up full time travel.
In 1993 they settled every Oct - Apr in the Fountain of Youth RV Resort in southern California (near Palm Springs) there Doreen was talked into taking up horseshoes, the RV Park had weekly tournamens every Monday, Wednesday 150 pitchers and with an Annual tournament every February.
At the RV Park they met Ray Ray & Gwen Prks who pitched who pitched horseshoes in Winfield. They encouraged Doreen and Billtd Bill and Doreen to join the Winfield Horseshoe Club when home during the summer months. They only attended a few tournaments in BC as they still had family connections in Saskatchewan and divided their summer months with them.
In 2002 Doreen and Bill retired from travelling south and settled in Winfield where they continued to pitch horseshoes out of the Winfield Horseshoe Club
Doreen's Record: for the two major tournaments in BC
Ladies Provincial Champion in 1999 (53%), 2006 (60%)
Placed 2nd two times, in 2005 (62%) and 2007 (60%). 3rd in 2004 (58)
Ladies BC Internationnal Champion 1995 (60%), 2nd 2005 (55%) and 2007 (56%)
